9th October

Today was the day we swapped around again with Chloe going out and Jesse coming back. Having found it very hard when it was the other way around a few weeks ago, I found it equally hard this way round! It's a funny business this dog rescue game it seems it is not enough to take your time, your life, it takes your heart as well. I can half remember a line, possibly T.S Eliot, 'To love and not to love, to let go.'
It was all rather chaotic as everyone was there at the same time, then everyone left. Chloe went off with Ernie and Alfie and Jesse was back. It just felt weird.
Jesse has grown and grown up and is much better in lots of areas but is obviously missing Moose and Lara and we just don't have a really good playmate for him.

Kate found it hard saying goodbye to him and is happy to have him back when Moose recovers.
We send our good wishes to Moose who is having an operation on his eyelids as well as being neutered. Sore both ends poor chap!

Val met Tim and Fawley when Tim delivered some organic compost to a customers house when Val was there.

Tim also met Tara.

Tara seems to be another Lexus, enjoy windfall. Caught in the act!!!

Think of Val and Stuart and the gang as they go for their photo shoot tomorrow at 12 midday.

Someone who went yesterday wondered why there was no reply as they knocked on the door. It turned out they had followed the Satnav and were in the wrong street and had gone the wrong way up a one way street!

Lets hope Val gets on better.
