21st October (evening)

Thanks to all of you who have sent good wishes to Saffy and Boycie.
I can tell you that this evening they are both still in their new homes.

Initially Saffy was very excited and crazy when I first took her in to the house but after a good walk she has calmed down and is now 'chilling.' She has a lovely garden to enjoy and seems very happy.

Boycie survived the journey without being sick and met the Shetland pony who was not much bigger than him, they both seemed suitably unimpressed.
Apparently now he has made himself at home with lots of strokes from Chistine's husband and son and they think he is lovely. He has enjoyed his walk and eaten his dinner.

So far so good, two very happy dogs.

Maisie came but we were not what her owner was expecting, she felt they could give her more time and attention than we would be able to, so took her home again!

So for the first time in longer than I can remember we only have five dogs here, long may it last!

We received a £20 donation from an elderly lady who was looking for a dog (an older, small, female) We have not yet managed to find her anything but she was grateful for our help and gave a donation towards our phone bill. Thank you Jill.

  1. At last!!! We are all so amazingly happy that BOTH Saffy and Boycie have found new homes! It's such great news and a real credit to you Alison for being so patient with them!!
Let's hope the re-homing streak lasts and you manage to find homes for the others soon too!
Best of wishes, Sally, Simon & Saffy (the other one...).xx
