13th November

My cherry tree dropped all her leaves at once, just like that, while I was walking Rosie with my friend this morning.
Angel helped me clear them just before dark.

Rosie's walk with my friend and her Spaniel went very well indeed. I did have to keep her on the lead most of the time as the Spaniel was a little worried and stuck close to 'mum' until they were used to each other. I did let her off at one point and she was fine not bothering Lexi. We met lots of other dogs including a friend riding her horse with her Labrador running beside her!
It was a very different experience not being worried about meeting other dogs and extraordinary watching Lexi and other dogs meeting with everyone accepting it as the norm not thinking anything could go wrong.
All the dogs Rosie met she said 'Hello' and sniffed showing no aggression and remaining calm.
We need to socialise her as much as possible in the next few weeks.
Rosie
She was so good my friend did not believe we had encountered any problems with her
.
One of the resident pigs.
The walk was two hours long.  Afterwards she had some food and a short rest and then we went over to the ponies with Angel and Jesse and I introduced her to the pigs.
Jesse.
Then we dropped off Angel and collected Sprite and headed off to Blackheath. This did not go as well as she tried to play with Jesse (who is still on lead walks) and we had only just set off with all three on leads when we met a very busy Springer and Collie. Both Sprite and Jesse lunged at the same time, Jesse out of excitement, Sprite probably from less noble purposes, they caught my daughter off balance and she went sprawling landing on her knees. She seemed to think her ankle had given way just before she fell, however her knees are fine but her ankle painful this evening.

Rosie managed a little time off then we met lots and lots of dogs. We struggled back to the carpark which was full. It seems you need to pick your times there this time of year as the short days mean it is very busy.
Rosie has been quiet this evening, surely she is tired but it has not made any difference to her being very hyper or stopped her making her noise as if she is being murdered when I take another dog out.
