10th October

I have learned that one of the dogs we homed protected his mistress recently when a chap became threatening in her home.
She writes that the dog (a four year old male) is normally so protective and gentle with her children but changed when he sensed his mistress was being threatened, the chap also noticed and left pretty quickly.
She says her heart goes out to all the poor Staffies stuck in rescue not getting chance to prove themselves as he has done! I say 'Amen' to that!

I see in Boycie that same sensitivity, he would make someone such a wonderful dog, why oh why is he still in rescue?

Here is a picture of two more of our dogs Harry and Trixie who not only found a wonderful home with Sam and Jim but were reunited after a year of separation. They are our Guildford Staffords own love story, a real Happy Ever After!
Harry is unwell at the moment with an ulcer in his eye (v. painful.) Just look at Trixie's devotion as she looks after him.
Get well soon Harry.

I have not heard from Val how the photo shoot went ... perhaps she is stuck up a one way street ...
