Boycie is doing well. Christine writes :-
Boycie on his cushion. |
As you are well aware, he has to be near someone - preferably as close as possible all the time! He doesn't look to run off when we open the back door, but we are not taking any chances until he is totally settled and knows his domain. He sat nicely on a long line watching me muck out as well this morning.
Will keep you posted on his progress.
Saffy update. Jude writes :-
We had a very successful first night... Saffy chilled out on "her sofa" upstairs with me while i read during the evening and then slept soundly in her crate through the night.
Today has been another great day; She's been on three good walks today & remains calm & very affectionate in the house, it's so lovely! This is her at the moment..
It has felt odd to me having so few dogs but not particularly easier, then I was very tired, yesterday was quite a day.
Today has been quiet in terms of phone calls, no requests to take dogs in, long may it last. We have to allow for dogs being returned so I think we will make the most of it and catch our breath.
Lovely news for Boycie and Saffy. They both look very happy and I'm sure they will be happy in their new homes. Good luck with keeping Boycie's pillow case white :-)
ReplyDeleteIt is really heartwarming to know that these two beautiful Staffords are at long last in a home of their own. Fingers and paws crossed here for them both xxx
