Trina. |
We were reliably informed an engineer would be out between 8am/1pm the next day (you can even track their progress.) When the engineer arrived it turned out to be none other than Martin who is one of our owners! That made it easier to explain the house full of dogs and the tawdry attitude to housework, though his six foot four inch mate spent the whole morning looking terrified!
Martin and Shirley and their children originally adopted Trina, sadly she died and I was hoping they would take another but in the meantime they got two cats! Then a little pup called Dolly came along, not unlike Trina and I was on the phone in hours.

Martin and his mate did a great job for which we are very grateful and now we have a warm house and plenty of hot water. Lovely!
Some more positive news.
Val and her pack of five (including our Tara) have been chosen by Battersea to attend a photo shoot (next Wednesday) as part of Batterseas next stage of 'Staffies Softer Than You Think' campaign.
I told you they were going to be famous soon.
It really is rare to see so many Staffords out in public together, and it is a great credit to Val and Stuart that they have achieved this, especially as they are all rescues and not all perfect with other dogs.
I am sure you join with me in looking forward to the results.
Chloe is now back to her happy, lively self and her skin improving. She is still on antibiotics and sees Jane Monday afternoon.
Great that you have hot water and saw Martin to boot!!! Perhaps it was fate.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to Wednesday's photo shoot, Stuart taking the day off as well as it's not an easy task getting 5 dogs to the other side of London and remaining CALM!!!!
The photographers name is Steve Hoskins, he did the Royal Mail stamp photo shoot for Battersea D&CH. We will see what he makes of our gang. Squirt and Frank are also going along.
