Both Boycie and Saffy seem to be getting on well in their new homes.
A further update on Boycie this morning said he had had a good second night and a busy morning.

Both Saffy's and Boycie's owners have been quite surprised even overwhelmed by all your messages of support.
Instead of feeling they have adopted some random dog from a batty lady of a 'certain age' wearing muddy trousers and a desperate look in her eyes, they find they have a dog who is already a celebrity with a network of supporters who probably know more about said dog than they do and who are uncorking the champagne just because they have adopted it!
I too am incredibly encouraged by your support and evident joy at seeing these dogs find a home of their own at last, it means so much to be able to share the ups and (more often) downs of rescue with you.
We have been working towards making the rescue into a charity and we are almost there. To register and get a charity number you have to have a gross income of £5000 a year. We have certainly topped that in past years but not in the last year, I shall let you know where we stand and how we are getting on.
I am still adjusting to having so few dogs and ridiculously it is still not seeming easier. Partly it is the mix of dogs, Saffy was very calm in the car and a good influence on Angel but now Angel is getting very wound up and 'spinning' plus she and Sprite hate each other and do not like to be in the car together. So it is not easy even being below our maximum quota for the first time in about two years, I am still in no rush to take in another dog.
Impressive that Saffy's new owners have got curtains to match her
