The news report yesterday was very good although upsetting as it was about Pitbulls and dog fighting. You actually saw cctv footage of a group of youths dumping a bleeding dog wrapped in a towel at Battersea's gate! The dog, a female, survived but would have to be pts as no-one claimed her and she was a Pitbull.
It also featured our own Ali Taylor and her gorgeous Stafford, Squirt, showing the educational programme they take to schools to promote good ownership. Ali is a huge supporter of Welfare and all SBT rescues including Guildford and Squirt is a fantastic ambassador for the breed. She attends our forum meetings greeting each of us in turn.
Now something to cheer us up.
