Sam Keen and Roxy plus Monty (Norfolk Terrier) and John and Lynne with Sky and Lynne's family with
little Jo-Jo (Yorkie) were all there as usual, Jo-Jo now 14 managing the whole walk despite a heart condition.
Then Bonny and Susie who John and Sam know from Agility, they are both rescues one RSPCA and one Battersea.
Saffy came with Adam and Jude and Chloe (showing off her full coat of fur) with Abi and little Evie and Lola (who managed half the walk.)
That was it! Eight Staffords and Jo-Jo and Monty.
However, there were still enough Staffords to turn heads and with less dogs it was more relaxed, providing chance to chat and all dogs (and owners) behaving impeccably with no tense moments at all.
Afterwards we were able to continue collecting outside the store, pleasantly warm in the sunshine.
Susie and Sky are both qualified PAT dogs and wore their vests whilst greeting people making lots of friends .
We collected £25 from the walk entries. £25.91 from collecting in store and we have received a further £30 from donations online.
We did not bring any of our dogs as Rosie has only just been spayed, Jesse is still coughing and it could be Kennel Cough, Angel would find it too much, also too much for Lexus with his dodgy hip.
We finished at 2pm so there was plenty of time to get home and give them all a good run.
Rosie is fine now, another who seems as if they have had nothing done after their op, she was just a bit quiet the first night due to the anaesthetic not the actual op, now raring to go.
Hi Ali, it is actually Bonnie who is a PAT dog (not Susie)! x
