Not had a good day with dogs today. Angel charged a dog on the bridleway, luckily there was a fence inbetween, i had the end of the longline and nearly lost a finger.
Jessie Sam and I headed out with Spryte, Boycie and Sandy. We passed a collie with problems and all did the right thing crossing the road, keeping ourselves between our dog and the other dog etc but they all reacted badly (including the Collie)
Then we joined up with my friend with her lovely working cocker but when we tried them off lead Spryte held her down and Boycie played too rough resulting in her making a horrible yelping screaming noise as if he was killing her! We didn't try Sandy as she had disgraced herself a few days previously.

This is a really powerful poster, and the message is succinct. What it needs is the oxygen of publicity and this is done by contacting the features desk of a suitable paper such as The Sun and Mirror and asking them if they're looking for sad animal stories. Best days are Sundays.
