BREAKING NEWS>>>>>>WE HAVE REACHED OUR TARGET FOR MONEY RAISED FOR CLEO'S OP!!!!!!!
IN FACT WE HAVE EXCEEDED OUR TARGET WITH A FANTASTIC £681 !!!!!!!
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us in this and especially to all who donated we are very, very grateful, thank you.
The reason we have suddenly shot past our target is due to Kerry Crick and her friends from her Agility club.
Kerry owns Rhea who was one of our puppies from the summer of 2009
Rhea has been placed in each of her first three Agility competitions, getting third place last weekend.
Congratulations to Kerry and Rhea on their success, but it doesn't end there.
One of Kerry's fellow competitors Colin Teager who normally runs a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel at grade 1 asked Kerry if he could have a run with Neighla, Kerry's older Stafford. she agreed with the conditions that he wear fancy dress and be sponsored with the money going towards Cleo's op.
He agreed and the run was completed with Colin wearing high heels and fishnets, among other things (we hope to get some photos)
The result was a fantastic £230 !!!!
Thank you so much Kerry, Colin and all who donated.
We will put £100 of the money into Reuben's Fund for any dog needing emergency treatment in the future.
You can make a donation into this fund at anytime, just let us know you want it to go to Reuben's Fund.
Cleo and Tumble! Not quite Carol! |
Cleo continues to improve coping well with her longer walks.
Well done, Kerry and Rhea on your success in Agility comps.
ReplyDeleteAnd what a fantastic amount raised by Neighla and Colin an excellent achievement by both, pictures are a must though so cough up!
Also congratulations to Alison for all her hard work securing funds for Cleo’s operation and helping the dog recuperate back at base camp, yet another story of how hard this lady works and the commitment she gives to her rescue dogs past and present.
